Delhi high court Junior Judicial Assistants recruitment details
High court of Delhi has published notification for the recruitment of Junior Judicial Assistants / Restorers posts recently.Important dates for the exams are given below
- Start date of online application – 12th August 2015
- Last date of online application – 26th August 2015
- Last date for receipt of online application at High court of Delhi – 7th September 2015
You will have to fill up online application (online application link),take print out of the submitted online application.Then you should send print out of the online application by post/hand to High court of Delhi.The fee payment should be using Demand draft.Pay order and Indian postal order.
The application print out and application fee print out should be send to Deputy Registrar (Establishment). Room No. 202. 2nd Floor. Administrative Block. Delhi High Court. New Delhi-11 0503.The envelop should have Application for the post of Junior Judicial Assistants/Restorers examination-2015 written in bold letters (Capital letters).Note you should write your name,mobile number and registration id on back of the application fee (demand draft etc).
The minimum educational qualification is Graduation.Along with it you should have minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) on computers. The lower and upper age limit is 18 years and 27 years as of 1st January 2015 for general candidates.The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST.The upper limit for OBC candidates is relaxable by 3 years.
Delhi high court Junior Judicial Assistants selection format
The section format of Delhi high court Junior Judicial Assistants/Restorers consist of objective exam,descriptive exam,computer typing test and interview.Marks in all four exams will be considered for preparation of final merit list.Candidates having knowledge of computers will be given preference.
The objective written test will be of two hour duration.Nothing is said about number of questions in objective test.But different sections from which questions will be asked are General Awareness.General Mathematics,Reasoning Ability and Language Comprehension.
Language Comprehension is similar to English comprehension questions you have in other competitive exams.General Mathematics is similar to Numeric Ability test.To prepare for these sections you can download papers from links given later in the post as well install mobile apps.I have provided link to mobile apps later in the post.
Also to prepare for objective exam you will not have to do something extra if you are preparing for IBPS exams.The level of questions will be similar to that of IBPS Clerk.The only significant difference will be in General Awareness.
Candidates who will qualify in objective test will appear for descriptive test.In Descriptive test you will have to write essay/comprehension writing test.You can practice writing essays on different topics.Descriptive test is not covered in most exams so you will have to prepare extra for this one.
Computer Typing test
This examination is to test your typing speed.You can practice typing on computers with stop watch to test your speed.The second method is to write an essay on any topic with a book in front of you.Then after completing the essay you can count the number of words with total time taken in minutes to get your words per minute.As per advertisement the minimum requirement is 40 words per minute.
If you are successful in all the above exams then you will appear for interview.Delhi high court Junior Judicial Assistants Restorers will consist of HR and profile based questions.Later in the post I will be sharing documents for interview questions as well as interview tips.
