Junior Intelligence Officer 2016 important dates
Ministry of Home Affairs has come up with notification for recruitment of Junior Intelligence Officers Grade 2 technical.The recruitment will be in Intelligence Bureau.This is Government of India job that is central government job.Important dates related to this exam is given below for your reference
- Start of Online application – 3rd Sep 2016
- End of online application – 24th Sep 2016
- Last date of Fees payment – 27th Sep 2016
- Date to determine eligibility criteria – Closing date of online application that is 24th Sep
The examination fees is low compared to other exams.Only Male candidates belonging to General category will have to pay 50 INR exam fees.Female and reserved candidates will not have to pay the fees.You will have to pay the fees in cash at State Bank of India branches using the challan.
Candidates who apply on the closing date (Sep 24, 2016) can deposit the fees in any State Bank of India branch on Sep 26 & 27, 2016.But I would recommend applying before last date.On last date server load increases and you face difficulty in applying.If you apply on other days then you should go to fee payment after one day.
The fees will only be paid at State Bank of India branches.You should retain your copy of challan. This will be required during the exams as well.
Junior Intelligence Officer 2016 eligibility criteria
Candidates should have cleared Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as subject.They should also have two years Industrial training course from recognized institute in Radio technician or Electronics or Electronics and Communication.
You should have above qualification as on last date of online application.If the date is after last date of online application then it will not be considered.Also distance education course will not be accepted.
The upper and lower age limit is 27 years and 18 years respectively.The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved candidates and widows or divorced females or departmental candidates.
Junior Intelligence Officer 2016 selection process
The selection process consists of three different tests as mentioned below
Written test is divided into two parts Paper 1 and Paper 2. You will have to give exams of paper 1 and paper 2 together.The question paper will be divided into two papers but the time will be same and there will not be any breaks as well.
Paper 1 of written test will be objective type.The questions will be from General Studies or Awareness , Numeric Ability , Science and Reasoning.Paper 1 will be of 80 marks.
Paper 2 will be descriptive paper.The syllabus of this paper is English comprehension , Test of English language , Antonyms and Synonyms and one word substitution. You will also have test of elementary maths and science as well.This paper will also be of 80 marks.
The total time for paper 1 and paper 2 will be 2 hours.Looking at the format of exams English Numeric ability and Reasoning are very important for success.Along with written test there will be also Trade test.
The trade test will be based on your job profile. It will be Practical in nature.It will be of 40 marks.So trade test is also very important for success in Junior Intelligence officer exams.
