Candidates should have completed 3 years diploma in Civil Engineering from Government recognized university or institute. You should have 60% aggregate marks as well.Post qualification experience is not required for this post. The advertisement does not say anything about BE or BTECH candidates.

NBCC exam selection format

National Building Construction Corporation Limited has not yet finalized the selection format. The selection format will depend on number of applications received for each post.If the number of application is huge then they may consider written test followed by Group discussion and Interview.

If the number of applications for each post is not that huge they may go with Group discussion followed by interview. If the number of applications are in range of 5 to 10 times of number of vacancies then they may consider only interview.

As the selection format is not yet fixed it becomes very difficult for candidates. You can’t exactly plan for the exam.Candidates should be prepare for written test followed by interview format. You should also prepare for Group discussion.Written test may not be online one.

They may go with rejecting applications or selecting applications based on certain criteria and then call candidates based on that order. If they take this approach then there will not be any written test. Now since it is not clear what will be selection format how the candidates should prepare for this exam.

To prepare for the exam you should concentrate on Civil Engineering topic along with General topics like Aptitude,Reasoning and English.Candidates applying for Hindi translator post should prepare for subjects relevant to them.If you are preparing for other exams then these topics will get covered as part of preparation for other exam.

Below I am producing list of resources which you can use for preparation of NBCC Junior Engineer exam as well. These materials are for written test and interview.I have not covered GD in these documents. For Group discussion you can focus on any topic related to NBCC like Infrastructure and their role in India’s growth.
